Christyn Gunter

Board Member, Lead Wichita
Senior Pastor, Rock Christian Fellowship Church

Christyn Gunter is the proud wife to her loving husband and mom to their three little ones.

Mrs. Gunter is bold about her love for God. She's passionate about service to her community and contributes creative all-inclusive programming and long-term support strategies for activating genuine diversity.

She currently serves as an abstinence lifestyle coach; board member and access team member for Lead Wichita; Education and Gospel Chair for JuneteenthICT festivities; former board member of the Wichita Chamber’s young professionals known as W; board member for Youth Horizons; board member for Mennonite Housing; member of Wichita Chamber’s Quality of Place committee; and member of Leadership Wichita. She has served as a consultant to non-profits and serves primarily as the Senior Pastor of Rock Christian Fellowship Church where their sole business is SOUL business!

Gunter was first introduced to Lead Wichita through the Global Leadership Sumit in 2016 as an attendee. Gunter says God used efforts from Lead Wichita to champion her during a pivotal time in her life. Since then, she’s served on the Access and Inclusion Team and later led that same team to broaden its reach. Gunter was the first to bring the Global Leadership Summit to Sedgwick County jail alongside other spaces representing the lost, forgotten or overlooked. There over 200 inmates were shown the love of Christ resulting in over 70 salvations, 50 restorations and changed lives post release.

Pastor Christyn isn’t big on titles or positions but rather, the progress being made when everybody does the part God created them to do. One of her favorite quotes is, “Don’t think less of yourself, just think of yourself less!”
