Craig Duerksen

Craig Duerksen joined Commerce in 2004. He is responsible for aligning and leading Commerce teams across Kansas and working closely with all lines of business.

Originally from Hillsboro, KS, Craig received a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Studies and Economics from Northwestern University. He started in banking after college, working for Harris Bank for 8 years in the Chicago area. In 2004, he and his family moved back to Kansas and he has been at Commerce Bank ever since.

As an active supporter of the local communities, Craig is a board member of Lead Wichita, north Wichita YMCA, Salvation Army and the Wichita Manufacturer’s Association. He also previously served as the board chair for Salvation Army and the board president of Wichita Manufacturer’s Association.
