Josh Pearce is the Chief People Officer at Capital III, a Wichita-based organization dedicated to building companies that generate economic, social, and spiritual capital. Capital III believes that business can be a force for good, and Josh’s role focuses on helping people thrive, nurturing culture, and equipping leaders to create a lasting impact. He has been part of the Capital III team for over 18 years, helping shape its people-first approach across a growing family of businesses.
Josh also serves as the Chair of the Lead Wichita Board of Directors, catalyzing courageous leadership that transforms Wichita for the better. He is passionate about building a city where leaders rise to meet challenges with integrity, vision, and hope. In addition to his work with Lead Wichita, Josh is on the boards of Welcome House, which supports refugee resettlement, and the Spiritual Life Center Correctional Facility, where he invests in leadership and restoration among incarcerated individuals. In 2024, he was honored as the HR Professional of the Year by the Wichita Business Journal.
Outside of work, Josh finds his greatest joy in his faith, family, and community. He and his wife love raising their three adventurous boys, spending weekends cheering them on from the sidelines, serving together at River Community Church, and staying active outdoors. As a lifelong sports fan, Josh enjoys following his favorite teams and believes that strong families and communities are built by showing up, encouraging others, and investing in what matters most.
